I stopped by Outlaw Wings Broomfield on a Friday afternoon and tried their lunch special: 4 wings Hot, 4 Medium, 4 Outlaw Dry Rub (this seems to be their signature dry rub), and 4 Honey Buffalo.
The Wings
The chicken wings themselves were a bit on the smaller side and a tad dry. However, the buffalo sauces — both the hot and medium - were very good.
The outlaw dry rub was meh. I'd skip it.
The honey buffalo wasn't for me, but some people might like it if you're into sweeter wing sauces.
Service & Value
Service was fast and prices were reasonable, especially for the lunch special.
Bottom Line / Verdict
The buffalo sauces are the star here. Stick with hot or medium, and skip the dry rub. The wings themselves could be bigger and juicier, but the sauce quality makes up for it. This place won't blow your socks off but it's definitely worth a visit.
